GET YO MAN CHICKEN-YUM!!!!

Tonight I made what The Neely's call, Get Yo Man Chicken.  It's a recipe t;hat I got off of FoodTV.com and it is really good.  Supposedly it's what Gina Neely cooked for her now husband when they were dating and he loved it and married her.  Just for the chicken.  Wow, I wish I had known that was all it would take to get the guy. :)

It's served on rice or pasta.  I used rice.  Even had enough left for another meal.  That makes it even better.

FIVE GUYS HAMBURGERS

We went to Five Guys tonight for dinner to try what was supposed to be the best hamburger in town.  It wasn't anything special.  I think I like a good Whataburger or Steak and Shake burger better.

This was a very nerve wracking day here in the DFW metroplex.  It went from flooding to tornado to a gorgeous sunset all in one day.  The first picture is one I took from my front porch.  The rest are news pictures that other people all over town took.

UMBRELLA STAND

Only three weekends, at least fifteen hours of looking and just as much gas later, we finally find this and it becomes our new umbrella stand.  We only had one lonely umbrella, so I stuck another old worn out one in just to make it look worth the effort. :)

It obviously wasn't meant to be an umbrella stand, but that was the problem.  We didn't want just an old run of the mill umbrella stand.  We wanted to find something different.  I think we did very well.

EXPRESSIONS 2010-OUT OF RETIREMENT

I decided to go back to the singing group "Expressions" for at least another year of some much needed stress, anxiety and nervousness.  Thought I should see just how good those meds really are.


Also decided that after all that work for four years I deserved at least to not worry about sharing germs with who knows who that has been using the microphones.  So now I have my very own germs.  I have worked hard and yep I deserved this.
