JUST ANOTHER DAY

Not a whole lot happened today. So, I ate and here's what I ate.  

Side salad and a small Chicken Salad cup from Chic-Fil-a

Red Pepper Crab Bisque

And  flounder with veggies from
Rockfish.


Wasn't all that good. The veg had to be sent back because it was cold.
DH says we'll probably not come back soon.



Low carbing it for a few days. CAUSE I'm FAT!!!!!!!!

SPRING CLIMBING ROSES

This bush looks particularly nice this year.

Must be the pruning, it looks better than it ever has.

SO FAR A FENCE...BUT

Obviously there is a fence being built. But, we have no say so on the color and the next door neighbor is thinking of leaving it plain.



We stained ours just this morning and boy does it stink

CARPET CLEANING DAY

I hate doing things around the house, because dealing with the animals is such a pain
.

But, sometimes it just has to be done.

DINNER WITH MY SON'S FAMILY

We went to dinner at my son's house. It was a very nice evening.

My granddaughter and I played camera tag for a while.

But in the end she  lost.

My son lost too. He beat himself twice at Pool!

DH's New Camera

DH decided he needed a new camera. Not sure why except he felt the need for something smaller than what he had. So I spent the day shopping for him.

The potted roses, the only old ones left are blooming. Just in time for the summer crappy weather to come screw'em up!

CASSIE'S NEW GROOMER

Cassie tried a new beauty shop today.

She liked it pretty well. They only kept her two hours :)

She looked so cute. I think she'll go back. Although the top knot is a tad short.

And I got to have a very slimming lunch in beautiful downtown Wylie, yum it was good even though a little fattening.

It was a good day. :)

DINNER AT PAPPADEAUX

We had dinner tonight at Pappadeaux's.

I ate lower carb, dear husband didn't :(

There is a pretty nice fountain and patio

It was really good. We were stuffed.

LAZY EXCITING WATCH THE STORM CHASERS DAY

Today I spent a great deal of the day following the storm chaser videos online. It was very exciting until the server got overloaded and stopped just as the chaser was about to see the tornado.

The feed stopped and the next time it came up there was this:

ALDI-WOULD YOU SHOP THERE?

This is Aldi-the really cheap grocery store.

It costs a quarter for a cart rental, but if you return the cart you get your quarter back.

There's a lot of strange brands I've never heard of.

Strange concept, but there's some things I might buy and it does seem very CHEAP!

A DAY WITH A COUSIN

We first ate at Obzeet.

She was impressed with the weird decor. Then we headed out to drive around and see what new shopping centers around had been built and what was open. 


We ended up at Watters Creek.

The brooks and water features there are very pretty.

We relaxed a bit.

The Roses were really pretty

Girl's Day Out!

My sister  and I took Mother on her first official shopping with the girl's trip in over a year.

It went well all in all. :)
